Had this tip put on yesterday and from the start just WOW, no sponginess, loads of reaction on the cue ball, all shots using top spin, side spin, screw back all worked an absolute dream. Played about 20 shots n felt great then in the evening played 37 frames on the pool table with it and it was pure class, without a doubt the best tip I’ve ever used and won’t use anything else again now. Like the saying goes you get what you pay for !! Used it worth the pyro 3.0 chalk and together was a class combination. Thanks taom 👌👍

Update after having the fusion tip on for 1 month:
Have been using the fusion tip with pyro chalk for 1 month now and here’s my thoughts after playing well in excess of 1000 frames of 8 ball pool:
I got a 10mm fusion tip and had trimmed down to 7mm for my playing cue. The tip IMO is bar far the best on the market in combo with using the pyro chalk, it has held its shape very well and has hardly worn down at all. The spin and reaction isn’t matched by any other tip I’ve tried – all shots with all spin delivers maximum performance feel and touch, softer towards the outside and firmer in the middle means no shot is out of bounds or difficult to play. As I said a month ago you get what you pay for and the games I’ve won since having this tip on has made buying this tip a great return on that investment. Get the fusion on and see your own game step up a level.

I had to write this , Taom fusion is just totally awsome, ive played for 18 years all over the world at high level and have experimented with all the various brands of tips out there, i just cannot tell you enough how great this tip performs, its exactly what is says, allows you to play every shot with authority and complete cue ball control, its truly shocked me , i cannot see me ever wanting to change another brand again, also the Taom break/jump tip, great feel and control, exactly what is required. If your a beginner or a pro please try them, once again ive tried them all and these in my opinion are the best by far.

Just an update on the taom fusion tip ,I’ve been playing with the new fusion tip for about 2 months and find the tip very responsive and doesn’t push the cue ball off line when playing with normal side ( not extreme ) . It would be good if the made the same tip in a harder grade.

Had this tip on now for a few months now was sceptical at first after trying other layered tips and just not liking them. However I have find this to be a perfect tip and would recommend to anyone looking for a new tip because I want be Useing any other tip on my cue.
I used the taom v2 chalk at first but found it didn’t stay on the tip very well so changed to the pyro and it’s a perfect combination. For great grip and control on the cue ball there really isn’t any other tip that comes close

UPDATE: Have now been using the taom fusion tip for over 2yrs and I can’t say enough good positives about it.
I will never use another tip ever again for many reasons.
It’s the only tip I’ve ever used that instantly plays amazing from the start, no sponginess or need to bed / settle in from the first shot the control and spin is there. Huge benefit of this is when a re-tip is required it straight away feels like you’re playing with exactly the same tip again.
The fusion being softer at the edges and more medium in the centre give you ultimate spin control when required as well as power and precision too. It’s the only tip I’ve ever used that doesn’t mushroom or need reshaping ever.
Along with the fusion I use the taom pyro chalk and what a perfect combo, no chalk marks on the cloth and no chalk transfer onto the balls thus reducing the chance of a kick or poor contact.
I play uk 8 ball pool and there’s no other tip or chalk I’ve ever used that’s as good as the taom products.
In life you get what you pay for and all taom products are worth every penny !!

Game changer!!! I’ve always played with Zan softs or meds but with the Taom Fusion you can get plenty of spin without killing the power. Won’t go back to anything else.
